How I work...
- I believe therapy should be built on trust, openness, and understanding your unique background. I create a safe space where you can be your true self without having to hide any part of who you are.
- By listening deeply, I aim to understand your life as a whole.
- I use proven techniques from different therapy approaches, which means I’ll ask about your relationships, family influences, and any negative messages you’ve internalized. We’ll also explore your strengths, like your community, pride in your identity, and connections.
- Together, we’ll identify which patterns and messages are no longer helpful to you and develop new, healthier ways of relating to others and yourself.
- I’ll support you in making therapy a brave space where we can talk about feelings and experiences that are hard to express, like shame, fear, anxiety, depression, and guilt. As Audre Lorde said, we’ll find the words for what you haven’t been able to say yet.
- We’ll work together to discover what empowers and heals you, helping you tap into your existing strengths and the wisdom passed down through generations.
- I provide online Therapy for Adults (18+)
- $150 per 45-50 minute individual therapy session
