How I Work...
- I believe that we grow, heal, and make meaning in and through our relationships, both with others and with ourselves.
- I provide relational, culturally responsive therapy that centers your lived experiences and honors the ways your relationships, history, and identity shape who you are today. I approach therapy as a collaborative space where we can slow down, reflect, and better understand patterns that may be contributing to distress or disconnection.
- My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and relational cultural therapy. This means I pay close attention to how past and present relationships influence emotions, behaviors, and self-understanding, and how growth often happens through connection, authenticity, and mutual understanding. I also integrate trauma-informed and strengths-based practices to support emotional safety and resilience.
- I work with children ages 10 and up, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. Together, we explore concerns such as trauma, depression, relational challenges, and life transitions, while also building insight, emotional awareness, and practical tools for navigating daily life.
- I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful source of healing. Feeling seen, understood, and supported can open space for change, self-compassion, and deeper connection. By understanding how your inner world and relationships interact, you can move toward greater clarity, agency, and well-being.
