Mental Health Support for DEI Professionals: Navigating Change, Reclaiming Wellness

Where: Virtual (Online)
When: Starting Tuesday July 15th, and every two weeks | Duration: 50 minutes per session | Total: 10 sessions
Who:BIPOC-identifying DEI professionals (Ages 21+)
Facilitator: Dr. Jacqueline Benson

About the Group

Recent political shifts have placed unprecedented pressure on businesses and public institutions to divest from diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts—leaving many DEI professionals feeling disoriented, disillusioned, and uncertain about their future.
This support group provides a safe, affirming space to process job-related transitions, grief, burnout, and identity shifts—all within a community that understands. Together, we will share, reflect, and build resilience in the face of systemic challenges.

What to Expect

Authentic & Experiential discussions using existential group therapy principles.
Evidence-Based Practices: Mindfulness, somatic grounding, values-based problem-solving, and emotion regulation strategies (CBT, DBT, ACT interventions).
A Judgment-Free Space: Prioritizing real conversations, lived experiences, and mutual support.

Who Should Join?

DEI professionals navigating systemic disruptions. Those seeking an affirming space for healing and reflection.
Individuals ready to explore emotional wellness beyond their professional role.
Limited spots available (8–10 participants). Secure your place today!

Starting August: This virtual support group is for BIPOC individuals of diverse gender identities (i.e., trans, nonbinary, agender, etc) seeking mutual support in the professional realm. Perhaps you’re grappling with whether to share your trans identity at a new job, enduring overlapping discrimination, or feeling isolated in existing work affinity groups that don’t fully embrace your identities. Or you're facing resistance when updating names or pronouns, feeling alone as the advocate for DEI, or seeking guidance on advocating safely. Whether you’re involved in sex work, tech, health care, or another role, this community welcomes you.
